Welcome to the Attachment Institute of New England

The Attachment Institute of New England was founded in 1999 by Dr. Megan Kirby, Mr. Kenneth Frohock and Dr. Joseph Lyons as the New England Institute for Attachment and Bonding, a program of Children's Friend, Inc., in order to better serve the needs of adoptive and foster families struggling with issues of attachment and attachment disorder. In October 2002, the New England Institute for Attachment and Bonding separated from Children's Friend, Inc. to become the Attachment Institute of New England.
